Good evening Mitchell Families, Chromebooks & Cookies event will be a K-5 event where families can come and check out school Chromebooks to work on academics and i-Ready learning pathways at home. We will host this event in the cafeteria with tables located around the cafeteria with different grade levels assigned.

A big thank you to our Parent Volunteers for helping our Mitchell students have fun at the Arizona Cardinals training camp this morning! If you'd like to volunteer for future events at our school, please come to our Parent Volunteer Group meetings. Our next meeting is on September 20th from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Parents, step-parents, grandparents, older siblings (18+), aunts, and uncles are all welcome! Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. Good Morning, Mitchell Families! Come join us tomorrow from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Parent Education Room! Ms. Yessenia from Heart of Isaac will show us how to make paper bag piñatas. It's a fun and easy activity, and it's great for kids ages 0-5. This event is free, and we’ll have all the supplies you need. Mitchell Families, We are planning a Title 1/Curriculum K-5 Night on Thursday, August 22nd from 4:30-5:30pm. In the cafeteria, Dr. Garza will present the Title 1 information and some general information. Grade level teams will set up booths in the hallway for a "fair style" curriculum night. Families can visit grade level teams for curriculum information, gain insight into what their student will be learning, and hear how they can best support their student's learning at home.

Please join us for our first Coffee with the Principal of the 2024-2025 school year! We host monthly coffee chats to ensure our families are afforded the opportunity to learn what their own students are learning. We examine data, and parents also learn to ask relevant questions of their child’s education or discuss safety concerns. Conversations are reciprocal during coffee chats, just as family engagement is intended to be. Acompáñenos en nuestro primer Cafécito con el Director del año escolar 2024-2025! Organizamos cafécito mensuales para garantizar que nuestras familias tengan la oportunidad de conocer lo que sus propios estudiantes están aprendiendo. Examinamos datos, y los padres también aprenden a hacer preguntas relevantes sobre la educación de sus hijos o a discutir preocupaciones de seguridad.
