Hello Mitchell families! This is a reminder that there will be no school tomorrow, Thursday, August 28th, for Data Day. Our teachers will be reviewing last week’s testing results and preparing curriculum to best support our students. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Friday.

K-5th grade Beginning of Year (B.O.Y.) Testing is starting this week, August 18th – 28th, 2025! This important assessment helps us understand where our scholars are starting the year so we can best support their learning.

✅ How you can help your student succeed:
• Make sure they are at school on time each day!
• Ensure they get a good night’s sleep.
• Encourage them to always try their BEST!

Let’s start strong by getting back into a routine:
✅ Go to bed early tonight
✅ Wake up ready to learn
✅ Make sure your child’s teacher knows how they’re getting home (car pickup, walking, or bus)

🍽️ Breakfast will be served in the classroom.
🚪 Gates open at 7:20 AM and close promptly at 7:40 AM.
⏰ Students arriving after 7:40 AM will be marked late.

Hi Mitchell Elementary Families, All borrowed Chromebooks must be returned by this Friday! Students who do not return their Chromebooks on time will lose the privilege of participating in Water Day A big THANK YOU to all the families who have already returned their devices! We appreciate your promptness and support. If you still have a school-issued Chromebook at home, please return it as soon as possible to keep your child eligible for this fun event.
