School Board Update
At tonight's meeting of the Isaac School District Board, the annual reorganization was approved. Mrs. Patricia Jiménez will now serve as President, and Mrs. Guzmán will take on the role of Vice President.
Additionally, the title of Board Secretary was updated to Vice President to better reflect the role’s responsibilities. Congratulations to both for their dedication and commitment to our community.

Yesterday, our Cougar Kitchen was the highlight as the talented students from Mr. Alcamphor’s Food Science class showcased their amazing culinary skills during the End-of-Semester Practice.
They turned learning into action by opening a mini café featuring delicious special desserts, creating a unique experience for IMS teachers, staff, and some invited students.
👏 Huge congratulations to these incredible students for their hard work and dedication! 🌟 Proud of what they’re achieving at IMS! 💙

🎄✨ A Heartwarming Experience: Shop with a Cop ✨🎄 This weekend, our Isaac School District #5 was invited to participate in the "Shop with a Cop" program, a beautiful event filled with generosity and holiday spirit. Students were selected from each school in the district, and from Isaac Middle School, three students had the incredible opportunity to take part! 💙👮♂️ Thanks to the support of West Valley Mavericks Foundation, Maryvale-Estrella PHX PD, and Kohl’s, our students enjoyed a day full of smiles, camaraderie, and joy, taking home not just gifts but unforgettable memories. We are truly grateful to these organizations for creating such meaningful moments for our families and for embodying the true spirit of the season. A huge shoutout to Ms. Velasquez for all her hard work bringing the IMS Gardens to life! 🌱✨ This week, the students in Ms. Hanson’s class helped her harvest different types of greens and herbs to create their own salads. 🥗
Students chopped their freshly harvested lettuces and worked together to make a delicious Cilantro Lime Ranch Dressing. It was an amazing and tasty experience for everyone! 👏🍴
¡Un gran reconocimiento para la Sra. Velásquez por todo su arduo trabajo para dar vida a los jardines de IMS! 🌱✨ Esta semana, los estudiantes de la clase de la Sra. Hanson la ayudaron a cosechar diferentes tipos de verduras y hierbas para crear sus propias ensaladas. 🥗
