Students in Ms. Hanson’s classroom have been celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in vibrant ways!
Guests visited the class to lead fun cooking lessons featuring produce from Mexico, Guatemala, and beyond. The room came alive with the sounds of Cuban music and the animals of Latin America’s rainforests as students explored new countries each week.
They wrapped up their celebration with an early Día de los Muertos activity — Glow-in-the-Dark Sugar Skull painting and creative reports about their favorite countries — a perfect way to end Hispanic Heritage Month 2025!

At Isaac Middle School, we celebrated a ceremony filled with pride and respect for our flag. It was an honor to receive a United States flag with such a meaningful history and to share this moment with our community.
