Students in Ms. Hanson’s classroom have been celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in vibrant ways!
Guests visited the class to lead fun cooking lessons featuring produce from Mexico, Guatemala, and beyond. The room came alive with the sounds of Cuban music and the animals of Latin America’s rainforests as students explored new countries each week.
They wrapped up their celebration with an early Día de los Muertos activity — Glow-in-the-Dark Sugar Skull painting and creative reports about their favorite countries — a perfect way to end Hispanic Heritage Month 2025!

Invitados especiales visitaron el salón para dirigir divertidas clases de cocina con productos de México, Guatemala y otros países. El aula se llenó con los sonidos de la música cubana y los animales de las selvas tropicales de América Latina mientras los estudiantes exploraban un nuevo país cada semana.
