The National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) has designated the second Friday in May as School Communicators Day. Each of our schools have a dedicated communication ambassador who manages social media, newsletters, and websites. We are grateful for our devoted communication ambassadors as they play a vital role in showcasing student achievements, celebrations, and keeping our families informed.

The Summer School Program is a great way for students to continue learning and developing academic skills. We encourage all of our students to participate! It is free for all Isaac School District students. Please stop by your school office or register online: www.isaacschools.org/summer

Hello HOI Community Partners -
We appreciate you all for joining us this beautiful morning for Resource Day at the House of Isaac. We were hesitant thinking the weather might affect the turnout but Parent Education and HOI team did an excellent job recruiting- special thanks to the social media ambassadors. A total of 113 families joined. During their visit, they had an opportunity to participate in a Free Yard Sale, fresh fruits and vegetables, health screens and most importantly learning of resources available to them.
As a friendly reminder, Resource Day is going on wheels! Our first stop is Morris K Udall and Butler, hosted on 2/29 at 1:30PM. More information to come.
On behalf of ISD and our families, thank you all for your support!

Reminder, Parent Teacher Conferences are this week. Students will have half day dismissal from February 7-9th. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher. We look forward to seeing you there!

At MKU at the end of January, we were able to dress a total of 50 students at Operation School Bell! Thanks to the Parent Education Team that attended to help! A special thanks to: Ms. Diaz Sabas, Ms. Corral, Mr. P. Verdugo, Ms. Gomez (Mrs. G.) & Ms. Torres for helping to have a very successful event! Our MKU students appreciate all your time & efforts!

Cheese Ball Warfare! Ms. McMenimen and Mr. Hernandez led their seventh grade social studies classes in a role play scenario. The goal was to understand the challenges of trench warfare from World War 1! The cheese balls were the ammunition and many players dropped in "No Man's Land". This is one lesson that will definitely be remembered by all!

Mrs. Aparicio set up a classroom cafe to help her students practice using English in a real life scenario! The students had so much fun and enjoyed several treats while trying out phrases like, "How is your salad?" and "My favorite food today were the tamales!" Smiles were everywhere!
