Our Yellowjacket girls volleyball team plays in a tournament THIS FRIDAY along with Isaac Middle School. Come out and support!
IMS plays at 5pm and MKU plays at 7pm.

MKU and IMS are competing in a soccer tournament TONIGHT at Carl T Hayden High School!
MKU plays at 6:30pm and IMS plays at 5:30pm. Both schools have the potential to play more games after their first one, depending on if they win.

"Isaac versus everybody." The Isaac Middle School cougar mascot faces the Morris K Udall Middle School yellowjacket mascot in the middle of the flyer. The rest says "Come support IMS & MKU soccer compete in IDAC's tournament. Friday, November 14th. Carl Hayden High School. 3333 West Roosevelt Street Phoenix, Arizona 85009. IMS at 5:30pm. MKU at 6:30pm with potential of another game with wins.
Next week is Spirit Week! November 17th - 21st.

Students have the opportunity to dress up each day based on the theme!
Students who choose to participate must still follow MKU dress code. See the image for additional dress code details for each day.

We can't wait to see how everyone dresses up!

Spirit week calendar: All outfits and items must be school appropriate. Monday 11/17 - Pajama day (wear sleepwear clothing, no blankets, no slippers). Tuesday 11/18 - Crazy hair, hat, or socks day (no drug/gang related items). Wednesday 11/19 - Character Day (dress up at your favorite character from books/movies/cartoons etc., no fake weapons, no masks, no ripped jeans, no drug/gang related items). Thursday 11/20 - School Spirit Day (no ripped jeans, no drug/gang related items). Friday 11/21 - Sports day (wear a sports jersey or team logo, no ripped jeans, no drug/gang related items).
Calendario de la semana del espíritu escolar: Toda la ropa y los artículos deben ser apropiados para la escuela. Lunes 17/11 - Día de pijamas (usa ropa de dormir, sin mantas ni pantuflas). Dollar Dress Down tomorrow!
Students can dress out of uniform tomorrow for $1. They must follow Dollar Dress Down dress code (see image).
Students with lost U-Cards must pay $5 instead.

Kona Ice is back tomorrow during student lunches!
This is a great fundraiser for our school. Please make sure your student bring enough money to purchase a sweet frozen treat! If they have Kona Ice cup, they may bring that as well.

Big thanks to our wonderful Yellow Jacket Student Council for throwing an amazing Fall dance last week! It was so fun to dance and see everyone in their fantastic costumes.
