We are excited to announce that JB Sutton has earned a B letter grade from the Arizona Department of Education! This achievement highlights the ongoing dedication of our amazing students and staff at JB Sutton and throughout the Isaac School District No. 5.

Reminder: Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on October 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. These dates are also half days, and students will be released at 12:00 p.m. Please be sure to stay in communication with your child’s teacher regarding your scheduled conference. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
Coffee with the Principal is tomorrow from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Parents, we invite you to join us for coffee and conversation. Topics will include Thinking Maps, reading strategies, and upcoming parent conferences.

We had some exciting visitors at JB Sutton! The Arizona Diamondbacks and their mascot, Baxter, stopped by our school to surprise Ms. Lucero with a special reward. As part of their community outreach program, the D-backs presented her with a $1,000 check to purchase new books for our students. It was a fun and memorable day, filled with smiles, high-fives, and a whole lot of school spirit. Thank you to the D-backs for supporting our teachers and helping us build a love of reading at JB Sutton!

As a reminder, any students arriving at 8:00 AM or later must be signed in at the front office. These students will be marked tardy for the day. Please be aware that frequent tardies can accumulate and result in absences.
Being on time is essential not only to avoid interrupting the learning environment, but also to ensure students don’t fall behind academically.
