Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Yessenia Fernandez from HOI (the Blue House), who brought fun and energy to our parent class! The moms participated in interactive teaching exercises, and we had two amazing winners: Mrs. Xenia Chicas and Mrs. Margarita Balderas, who will receive a special prize from HOI for their commitment and enthusiasm. 🌟 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Isaac Middle School! 🌟 The students in Mrs. Hanson's class enthusiastically celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month throughout the past month. They had guest teachers who led weekly cooking classes, where they prepared delicious dishes like churros, nachos, tostones, and more. Each week, they focused on a different Hispanic country, writing reports, creating amazing works of art, participating in popular sports, and tasting a variety of traditional foods from different Hispanic countries around the world. It was a month full of learning and enrichment for both the staff and the students! 🌟 ¡Celebrando el Mes de la Herencia Hispana en Isaac Middle School! 🌟 Los estudiantes de la clase de la Sra. Hanson celebraron con entusiasmo el Mes de la Herencia Hispana durante el mes pasado. Tuvieron profesores invitados que impartieron clases de cocina semanales, donde prepararon deliciosos platos como churros, nachos, tostones y más. Cada semana, se centraron en un país hispano diferente, redactaron informes, crearon obras de arte asombrosas, participaron en deportes populares y degustaron una variedad de comidas tradicionales de diferentes países hispanos de todo el mundo. ¡Fue un mes lleno de aprendizaje y enriquecimiento tanto para el personal como para los estudiantes!

Thank you to all the parents who attended our monthly Coffee with the Principal! This month, we were joined by Mrs. Scrivner and had a special visit from Mrs. Guzman. It was a very productive meeting where we discussed important topics for our community. Congratulations to Ms. Kristen Jahrman for being one of 500 recipients of the APS Supply My Class Program. This program sponsored by Arizona Public Service allows teachers across Arizona to receive supplies and resources to help support their classroom. Congrats to all teachers who were selected and for their passion for education and unwavering commitment for our students.
