We are beyond thrilled to announce that Erick Campos and Dahnitza Dominguez Martinez have been awarded the prestigious Boys Hope Girls Hope (BHGH) of Arizona’s Hope Ignites scholarship! This incredible honor is a testament to their hard work, resilience, and character. Just a friendly reminder for our families that AASA Testing officially kicks off this week. We are so proud of the hard work our students have put in this year, and now it's their time to shine!

🗓️ What’s Happening This Week:
3rd, 4th, & 5th Grade: ELA Writing portion.

3rd Grade ONLY: Oral Reading Fluency (ORF) unit.

💡 Quick Tips for a Great Testing Week:
Early to Bed: A well-rested brain is a sharp brain! Aim for a consistent bedtime to ensure they get plenty of sleep.

Healthy Breakfast: Fuel those "thinking caps" with a balanced meal (protein and fiber are great for steady energy!).

On-Time Arrival: Arriving at school with a few minutes to spare helps students feel calm and settled before the test begins.

Positive Vibes: A little encouragement goes a long way. Remind them to just do their best—we already know they're amazing!

Tech Check: If your student uses their own headphones for the computer-based portions, please make sure they are in their backpack!

Note for 3rd Grade Parents: The Oral Reading Fluency portion is a quick, 1-minute-per-passage check where students read into a microphone. It’s just one way we celebrate their growing reading skills!
