A Note From The Nurse:
Attention Esperanza families: Reminder, crocs and sandals are NOT allowed according to our uniform policy. All students are required to wear closed toe shoes, for their safety. We want to keep all students safe and healthy and avoid any injuries to their feet. Please assist us in making sure your student(s) wear appropriate shoes. As always, please reach out if you have any questions.
For water day, please note students can wear water shoes or tennis shoes. No other footwear will be allowed. If your student comes in Crocs or sandals they will not participate in Water day. Thank you for helping our Star students stay safe!

AZED shares important student wellness message from AHCCCS
The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System aims to increase the number of AHCCCS/KidsCare members who complete a well-care visit with a PCP or OB/GYN between
June 5 - September 5 this summer. There is a $25 gift card incentive being
offered to eligible members who complete the well-care visit during
the campaign timeframe. Members are eligible for the gift card incentive if
they: complete the well-care visit with a PCP or OB/GYN between June
5 - September 5 this year; are ages 3 - 19 years old; are enrolled in a managed
care health plan; and have not yet completed a well-care visit this
year. We recently launched a centralized campaign webpage as well: https://www.azahcccs.gov/wellcare.

Congratulations to Leila G. from 4th grade and Arisdelcy R. from 1st grade. They are both winners of the Sunwise poster drawing contest for their grades in the state! Leila is pictured receiving her award at a Diamondbacks game at Chase Field this past weekend. And a special thank you to Coach T for having the students participate is the contest!
