We are proud to announce that Ms. Maria Labra from J.B. She also received a surprise visit from the APS Chief Information Officer and Community Affairs Program Manager. Today, we're thrilled to share what Hispanic Heritage Month means to Emerson, a proud Costa Rican and dedicated member of our Business Services team, who embodies the spirit of "Pura Vida" – a phrase that represents the Costa Rican way of embracing life with positivity and gratitude.



Today's Governing Board Meeting was proudly hosted at Joseph Zito Elementary School, where Principal Ms. Laura Couret de Gentile extended a warm welcome to the Isaac Community. The Zito Student Council delivered a powerful recital of the poem "The Promise Land," setting the tone for a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. This was highlighted by an energetic performance of "De Colores" by a group of vibrant fourth-graders. The student performances concluded with a display of traditional "gritos" by a talented group of scholars. The meeting also included a comprehensive review of site accomplishments and a special recognition of staff achievements. We are deeply grateful to our ISD Community for their ongoing commitment and support in making these meetings successful. #IsaacPride
