The National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) has designated the second Friday in May as School Communicators Day. Each of our schools have a dedicated communication ambassador who manages social media, newsletters, and websites. We are grateful for our devoted communication ambassadors as they play a vital role in showcasing student achievements, celebrations, and keeping our families informed.

Dear Zito Parents and Guardians,
We completed the scheduled Lockdown Drill as we had previously planned. In our continuous efforts to keep you informed, we are pleased to communicate that our drill went as planned with the collaboration of our ISD Family and Community Engagement Specialist along with local authorities. The duration was from 8:00 to 8:15 a.m. today, at which time no person was allowed to enter or exit our buildings and students practiced staying safe in their classrooms behind locked doors. Please take a moment to discuss today’s lockdown with your child/children and our intent as a community to keep them safe.
