It's Spirit Week here at the Bret Tarver Preschool! The students and staff are having a blast showing off all of their outfits in some of their favorite colors! Today was blue day! We cannot wait to see everyone's green outfits tomorrow!! Next week is spirit week here at Bret Tarver Preschool! We can't wait to see all the students dressed in some of their favorite colors! Good afternoon Bret Tarver families! We had a lot of excitement on our campus today as we completed our first set of bus evacuation drills. The students got to meet some of the district's bus drivers, and learn about some of the features on the bus that help keep us safe. We also practiced how to safely and swiftly exit through the front door of the bus in case of an emergency. Ask your student to tell you all about it!! ¡Buenas tardes, familias de Bret Tarver! Tuvimos mucha emoción en nuestro campus hoy cuando completamos nuestro primer conjunto de simulacros de evacuación del autobús. Los estudiantes conocieron a algunos de los conductores de autobuses del distrito y aprendieron sobre algunas de las características del autobús que nos ayudan a mantenernos seguros. También practicamos cómo salir de manera segura y rápida por la puerta principal del autobús en caso de una emergencia. ¡Pídale a su estudiante que le cuente todo al respecto!

Good afternoon Bret Tarver families! If you have Elementary or Middle School students in the Isaac School District, you have received a progress report for their grades so far this school year. Preschool does not have "report cards"; however, during each parent-teacher conference you will receive a Family Conference Form. This is essentially the same as a progress report for your preschooler. It covers all of the developmental areas, and will cover your child's strengths, and what areas the teacher will focus on for growth specific to your child. The first parent-teacher conference will be the first week of October, just before fall break. If you have any questions or concerns before then, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher. We are so proud of all of the progress and growth we have seen in the students so far this school year, and cannot wait to see how far they go!! ¡Buenas tardes, familias de Bret Tarver! Si tiene estudiantes de primaria o secundaria en el distrito escolar de Isaac, ha recibido un informe de progreso de sus calificaciones en lo que va del año escolar. El preescolar no tiene "boletas de calificaciones"; sin embargo, durante cada conferencia de padres y maestros, recibirá un Formulario de conferencia familiar. Esto es esencialmente lo mismo que un informe de progreso para su hijo en edad preescolar. Cubre todas las áreas de desarrollo y cubrirá las fortalezas de su hijo y en qué áreas se enfocará el maestro para el crecimiento específico de su hijo. The Bret Tarver Isaac Preschool will be closed on Monday September 5th, 2022 due to Labor Day. We will resume classes on Tuesday September 6, 2022. Good Afternoon parents! Looking for a dentist? Or just in between appointments? Bret Tarver is lucky enough to have First Teeth First visiting our campus in October. Their program can screen children between the ages of 0-5—not enrolled in kindergarten and expectant mothers. We hope their cavity prevention program will help children arrive at kindergarten healthy and prepared to succeed. If you are interested, please see the office for a consent form ASAP.

Good Afternoon Parents!! Bret Tarver Preschool is doing our absolute best to ensure a fast, smooth, effortless drop-off and pick up for all students, each day. In order for this to happen, we need your help!! All classes will form a drop-off, and pick-up line, at the north gate of the parking lot (right by the office). If you have a car, please stay in your car to drop off your child. If you are walking to school, please form a line on the sidewalk, outside of the north gate. As stated, ALL classes are forming a line in the same spot at different times throughout the day, depending on the program your child attends. Please do not start the drop-off/pick-up line until 5 minutes before the designated time for your child’s classroom. Please see the schedule below for drop-off/pick-up times for each classroom. Shining Stars Program (Room 11 & 12): Drop-off begins at 7:00am and is done through the school’s office. Pick-up ends promptly at 4:30pm and is done through the school office. Stepping Stone (Room 10): Drop-off takes place from 7:50am – 8:00am. Pick-up takes place from 11:50am – 12:00pm. Developmental Preschool (Rooms 1, 2, 9, and 15): Morning drop-off takes place from 8:30am – 8:45am. Morning pick-up takes place from 11:15am – 11:25am. Afternoon drop off takes place from 12:15pm – 12:30pm. Afternoon drop off takes place from 3:00pm – 3:10pm. First Thing First (Rooms 5 and 6): Morning drop-off takes place from 8:30am – 8:45am. Morning pick-up takes place from 11:30am – 11:40am. Afternoon drop off takes place from 12:15pm – 12:30pm. Afternoon drop off takes place from 3:15pm – 3:25pm. If you arrive after your child’s designated drop-off or pick-up times, please park and head into the office. ¡¡Buenas Tardes Padres!! Our thoughts and hearts are with the families and community who have been affected by the tragic incident yesterday in Uvalde, Texas.
