Our 3rd graders are showing what active learning looks like!
Students have been working together, thinking aloud, writing, reading, and learning from one another. In one activity, students turned their tables into giant whiteboards as they practiced literacy skills and shared their thinking with classmates. In another, students gathered in a small group to read, discuss, and work through their materials together.
We love seeing our students take ownership of their learning, collaborate with their classmates, and find creative ways to practice important skills. These moments build more than academic knowledge—they also strengthen communication, confidence, teamwork, and independence.
Way to go, 3rd grade! Keep thinking, questioning, reading, writing, and learning together!
