Good afternoon Bret Tarver Families!! Our school newsletter for this month stated that there would be a Winter Festival tonight, however due to the recent weather being so unpredictable, our staff decided to postpone the festival. Don't worry! It will still be happening!! It will now be a Spring Festival, happening in March. More details to come soon!! ¡¡Buenas tardes familias de Bret Tarver!! Here's an idea of something you and your family could do over the long weekend. Last month A Stepping Stone went on a field trip to the Children's Museum of Phoenix and had an absolute blast! Tons of activities to keep the whole family busy and smiling! We are officially back from winter break!! Everyone is so happy to be back, and we hope you had a restful and relaxing two weeks off!!! New year, new goals!!! Estamos oficialmente de regreso de las vacaciones de invierno!! ¡Todos están muy felices de estar de regreso y esperamos que hayan tenido dos semanas libres de descanso y relajación! Año nuevo, metas nuevas!!!

A Stepping Stone program also got to enjoy a picnic in the park with it's two other classrooms from neighboring districts. Speaking of picnics, the weather has been perfect to get outside and enjoy some fresh air!! Bundle up and head to the park to enjoy lunch or a snack, or just to take a walk and play on the playground! We can't wait to have you back at school soon!! Bret Tarver loves to spread the love!! A Stepping Stone, one of the wonderful programs at Bret Tarver, received gifts for all of their students and their siblings as part of a holiday angels program. ¡A Bret Tarver le encanta difundir el amor! Sliding into week 2 of winter break like....All of the staff at Bret Tarver are missing all of our students, but hope everyone is having an absolute blast over the break!! Hello Bret Tarver families!! Just in case you forgot, this week is spirit week here at the preschool! None of the days or themes are mandatory, and there is no need to go out of your way to buy anything new! Spirit weeks are just a way to bring a smile to everyone's face and show off some of your wardrobe that you may not have been able to before! Today was candy cane day, and boy was it sweet!! Our physical and occupational therapists even brought our students to the north pole for their sensory experience this week! Hola familias de Bret Tarver!! En caso de que lo hayas olvidado, ¡esta semana es la semana del espíritu aquí en el preescolar! ¡Ninguno de los días o temas es obligatorio, y no hay necesidad de salir de su camino para comprar nada nuevo! ¡Las semanas de espíritu son solo una manera de traer una sonrisa a la cara de todos y mostrar algo de tu guardarropa que tal vez no hayas podido antes! ¡Hoy fue el día del bastón de caramelo, y vaya que fue dulce! ¡Nuestros terapeutas físicos y ocupacionales incluso llevaron a nuestros estudiantes al polo norte para su experiencia sensorial esta semana!
