We appreciate the commitment of our Isaac Parents & Guardians that took the time to participate in our Focus Groups this week. This work continues to engage all stakeholders to be informed and have a voice in the revision process of our Isaac Strategic Plan. We held four Parent Focus Groups at different sites throughout the district. Participants had the opportunity to review and discuss what they felt were points of strength of the plan and what additional areas we should consider. Thank you for your time and input.

This evening we celebrated and honored our retirees who have dedicated years of unwavering service and commitment to our Isaac Community. This Annual Retirement Dinner included a reflection of achievements, memories, and profound impacts that each individual has had on the lives they have touched. We wish them all a joyful retirement and a future filled with endless possibilities.

Happy National Speech Pathologist Day to our team of Isaac Speech Pathologists and assistants. Our school-based speech therapists assess, diagnose and treat speech and language issues that affect student’s achievement, intelligibility, and social relationships. They work hard to create individualized therapy plans that support our students inside and outside of the school. Thank you for making a great impact on the lives of our Isaac Scholars.

Last night was our last Parent Advisory Council (PAC) Meeting for the year. We appreciate our PAC members for their time, commitment, and partnership.

The National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) declared the second Friday in May as National School Communicators Day. We appreciate all of our Communication Ambassadors for showcasing the amazing events happening within their schools. Not only do they manage their school site's social media, but they create monthly newsletters and also maintain their school's website up to date. They play an important role by communicating and informing our Isaac families of important dates and events. Thank you for all that you do.

We are grateful to our staff for teaching and supporting our Isaac Scholars each and every day. Every staff member plays an important role in our district. The sweet treat truck has been making its way around our sites during Teacher Appreciation Week on behalf of our Superintendent, Dr. Mario Ventura and the ISD Leadership Cabinet Team. Thank you to our ISD Staff!
