National Special Education Day is observed every year on December 2nd to mark the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) into law in 1975. We would like to take a moment to celebrate our special education community and recognize the invaluable work of our Student Services Department and the roles they play. We appreciate our staff for their dedication in shaping the futures of our students each day.

We thank all of our families who joined us this evening for our Family Leadership Institute Graduation. This event was filled with celebrations of ISD families who completed a three-week virtual workshop program in partnership with the National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE). 97 ISD families learned ways to engage and communicate better with their children, school, and community. We look forward to celebrating more accomplishments across Isaac.

Our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) met today to engage in enriching opportunities for parental engagement and learning outside the classroom. It was an insightful session filled with collaborative problem-solving discussions aimed at identifying effective strategies. The collective effort was focused on enhancing the learning experience for our students beyond conventional classroom settings.
Stay tuned for updates as we continue to implement these strategies and further strengthen our community's engagement in our children's educational journey!
Thank you to all our dedicated parents for your ongoing support and involvement.

Congratulations to our talented band students from Morris K. Udall Middle School who have been accepted into the prestigious Greater Phoenix Honors Band.
