The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priority.
On Thursday 9/1/2022 we received a report from a community member who noticed a suspicious vehicle approaching a female student walking near the west area of 39th avenue and Palm Lane. The community member approached the student and asked if she was ok and if the individuals in the car were bothering her. The student responded that they were bothering her but she was ok. The Phoenix Police Department was notified of the incident and the school staff continues to be vigilant.
According to the witness, the vehicle description is an older model SUV (suburban style), dark blue, dark tint, dent on driver side bumper, sticker on the back driver side window. The passenger was identified as a Hispanic male mid-40s to early ’50s, wearing a gray shirt.
Students are reminded of safety and encouraged to walk with others when possible. Please take the time to remind your child about using safe practices when walking to and from school.
