Dear P.T. Coe Parents/Guardians,
As we continue to work in partnership with parents to provide open communication and ensure the safety of all students, we want to keep you informed of an event that occurred today. This morning, there was an incident that prompted us to call a lockdown. The duration of the lockdown was approximately 15 minutes. All students were accounted for and safe.
The Phoenix Police Department was notified and was present at the school today. Our coordinated efforts are managing the safety and security of our students and staff. Our goal is to continue providing a safe learning environment for all while keeping parents informed throughout the process.
We understand that some situations may affect students in different ways and school counselors are available. Please do not hesitate to call our office at (602) 442-2400 should you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for speaking with your child to ease their concerns.
