Dear PDS Families,
The safety of our students is our number one priority. As always we want to keep you informed of important issues happening within our school and surrounding community.
On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, we became aware of a threat circulating on social media directed to Pueblo Del Sol. We worked closely with Isaac School District’s Safety & Emergency Preparedness Specialist and the Phoenix Police Department to investigate the credibility of this threat. While the Phoenix Police Department does not believe the threat to be credible, we will continue to closely monitor the situation.
Please know that all threats to our school or students are taken very seriously and are investigated thoroughly by the Phoenix Police Department. We encourage parents to speak with your child(ren) about making the right choices and the potential consequences of their actions. We urge all students and families to refrain from reposting threats and rumors online but encourage them to report any suspicious activity or threats to their teachers or school administrators.

La seguridad de nuestros estudiantes es nuestra prioridad número uno. Como siempre, queremos mantenerlo informado sobre asuntos importantes que suceden dentro de nuestra escuela y la comunidad.
El miércoles 21 de septiembre del 2022 hubo un reporte de una amenaza que circulaba en las redes sociales dirigida a Pueblo Del Sol. Trabajamos de cerca con el Especialista en Seguridad y Preparación para Emergencias del Distrito Escolar de Isaac y el Departamento de Policía de Phoenix para investigar la credibilidad de esta amenaza. El Departamento de Policía de Phoenix no cree que la amenaza sea creíble sin embargo continuaremos monitoreando de cerca la situación.
Por favor tenga en cuenta que todas las amenazas a nuestras escuelas o estudiantes se toman seriamente y el Departamento de Policía de Phoenix las investiga a fondo. Alentamos a los padres a que hablen con su(s) hijo(s)/hija(s) sobre cómo tomar las decisiones correctas y las posibles consecuencias de sus acciones. Instamos a todos los estudiantes y familias a que se abstengan de volver a publicar amenazas y rumores en línea, pero los alentamos a informar cualquier actividad sospechosa o amenazas a sus maestros o administradores escolares.
