Dear Morris K. Udall Parents/Guardians,
As we continue to have open lines of communication with our families, we wanted to address the cause of the delay during our dismissal time today. During this time we maintained close communication with our Safety & Emergency Preparedness Specialist and the Phoenix Police Department who made us aware that there was police activity in our surrounding neighborhood. As an extra precaution we waited to dismiss our students until we had clearance from the Phoenix Police Department.
We thank you for your cooperation and patience during dismissal today as the safety and well-being of our students and staff continue to be our top priority.
