Harry accumulated extensive experience in Executive/Senior management of organization startups, turn around, supply chain, operations, and quality management.  As CEO of Trin and Associates he owned and operated one of the first integrated family health clinic(s) within the City of Phoenix. Currently, he provides private consulting services to executives in the health, education, sustainable industries and provides economic development as a licensed vendor for support to Salt River Pima-Maricopa, Tohon O’odham and previously to the Navajo Indian Communities as a certified vendor for the Arizona Department of Gaming.  As President/CEO Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce he also oversaw the operation of the US Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Center Phoenix AZ that focused on securing large public and private contracts and financing transactions, stimulating job creation and retention, and facilitating entry to global markets for eligible minority-owned businesses. Also Chaired the US Hispanic Chamber’s President Advisory Council active in setting national policy(s) and establishing international trade relations for its members.  Harry worked on economic development, private development of a large retail center, assisted with housing subdivision development, lead redevelopment projects for the City of Phoenix primarily in low-income Neighborhood Initiative Areas (NIA).  Established BF Goodrich aerospace manufacturing company in Phoenix becoming the first tertiary supplier with Airbus SAS, European Union, primary supplier with Boeing, McDonald Douglas. Where he was also a certified trainer in the Boeing Company D1-9000 ADVANCED QUALITY SYSTEMS (AQS).  In addition to small defense contracting company expansion.

Harry’s community involvement includes the City of Phoenix Commission on the Economy, 2006 $879MM Bond Committee, St Joseph Hospital and Medical Center and St Joseph Westgate Hospital, Board of Director’s (BOD) Chair, Area Agency on Aging BOD member and Chair Advocacy Committee, Maryvale Revitalization Committee, Executive Committee, Wesley/Golden Gate Community Center (FQHC) Board member, Healthy Mother Health Baby BOD Chair, Lifelong member of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials and former International Economic Development Council member.

As an elected and appointed official he served as the President of the Board of Education on an elementary, high school and accommodation School districts in addition to Board Chairman of a state of the art Charter High School for disconnected youth within the city of Phoenix. Harry also served as President of both Arizona School Board Association and the National School Board Association Pacific Region. At the national level, Harry has served on the Executive Committee and board member of the National School Boards Association, President of the Caucus of Hispanic School Board members, Vice Chairman Council Of Urban Boards of Education (CUBE). CEO/Co-founder of The National Tri-Caucus Board Development Association (NTCBDA) a nonprofit establishing public policy for Hispanic, African American and Native American public school children.  In 2015 NTCBDA-AZ was awarded to be a joint venture partner with Maricopa County Education Services Agency (MCESA) providing staff support to the Opportunity for Youth (OFY) Initiative overseen by the OFY Advisory Council. Also served on three White House Initiatives related to Hispanic Student issues; Drop Out Prevention, HIV/Aids and teen pregnancy.

Harry Garewal has earned an Associates In Applied Science (AAS), Bachelor in Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration Degrees and has lived in Phoenix since 1970 with his wife, two (2) children and nine (9) grandchildren.
