It's National School Psychology week! NSPW is an annual opportunity to recognize school psychologists' work to help children thrive in school, at home, and in life. This year's theme, "Spark Discovery," recognizes the work that school psychologists do to help their communities seek out new ideas, effect change, and expand horizons for children and youth. The Isaac Preschool would like to express our deep gratitude for the wonderful psychologists we have here on our campus, Dalia and Doris. They both do so much for our current students as well as the community with preschool screenings each quarter. Thank you Dalia and Doris for all you do!! ¡Es la semana Nacional de Psicología Escolar! NSPW es una oportunidad anual para reconocer el trabajo de los psicólogos escolares cuales ayudan a los niños a prosperar en la escuela, en el hogar y en la vida. El tema de este año, "Spark Discovery", reconoce el trabajo que realizan los psicólogos escolares para ayudar a sus comunidades a buscar nuevas ideas, lograr cambios y ampliar horizontes para niños y jóvenes. El Preescolar Isaac quisiera expresar nuestro profundo agradecimiento por las maravillosas psicólogas que tenemos aquí en nuestro campus, Dalia y Doris. During the week of November 11-15th, the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and schools across the United States will mark National School Psychology Week (NSPW). That week celebrates the contributions of school psychologists and the important role they play in schools and communities. NSPW is an annual opportunity to recognize school psychologists' work to help children thrive in school, at home, and in life. This year's theme, "Spark Discovery," recognizes the work that school psychologists do to help their communities seek out new ideas, effect change, and expand horizons for children and youth. This year's theme, "Spark Discovery," inspired by the NASP Presidential Theme "Catalysts in Action," is meant to evoke a sense of pride in school psychologists' scientist-practitioner training. School psychologists are highly trained in data-based decision-making, including behavioral operationalization and data collection/analysis. Durante la semana del 11 al 15 de noviembre, la Asociación Nacional de Psicólogos Escolares (NASP) y las escuelas de todo Estados Unidos celebrarán la Semana Nacional de Psicología Escolar (NSPW). Esa semana celebra las contribuciones de los psicólogos escolares y el importante papel que desempeñan en las escuelas y comunidades. Today, room 2, A Stepping Stone, went to the farm! Everyone had a blast learning about the uses of corn, seeing the animals, picking fresh fruits and vegetables, riding the train, and playing in the jump pit! Isaac Preschool's please and thank you parade yesterday was a huge success!! Paired with "wear your favorite character day", there were smiles and creativity all around! All students got to collect treats while practicing their manners, saying please and thank you. The student services team set up some activities along the way, like climbing steps to jump, lights, bubbles, a sensory wall, and even a ring toss. We have way too many great photos for just one post, so don't worry, there will be more!! ¡¡El desfile de "porfavor y gracias" de Isaac Preschool ayer fue un gran éxito!! Junto con el "día de usar tu personaje favorito", hubieron sonrisas y creatividad por todos lados! Todos los estudiantes pudieron recolectar golosinas, mientras practicaban sus modales, diciendo por favor y gracias. El equipo de servicios estudiantiles organizó algunas actividades a lo largo del camino, como subir escalones para saltar, luces, burbujas, una pared sensorial e incluso un lanzamiento de aros. ¡Tenemos demasiadas fotos geniales para una sola publicación, así que no te preocupes, habrán más!

Earlier this week, A Stepping Stone took their first field trip of the year to the Phoenix Zoo. All of the students had a blast seeing all of the animals. We even got to watch an alligator named Brutus being fed! So many steps, and so many smiles, we cannot wait until our next trip! A principios de esta semana, A Stepping Stone realizó su primera excursión del año al Zoológico de Phoenix.
