School Closure Extended for the Remainder of the School Year

Dear Isaac Staff,

Earlier this morning Governor Ducey and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Hoffman announced the extension of school closure for the remainder of the 2019-2020 School Year. You can view the announcement here.

We will continue to provide meals for our community as well as resources for learning at home.

For staff who are essential to the operation of the district, we are taking extra precautions in addition to following the health and safety guidelines issued by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Principals will continue to meet with instructional staff through video conferencing to provide guidance surrounding support for students, professional development and committee work related to school improvement and preparation for the 2020-2021 School Year.

Funding for compensation will continue to be provided by the state. We do not foresee any disruption to our employee payment schedule. As a reminder, all non-essential staff reassigned to at-home work duties are on call during their normal work hours and shall  be required to provide services as requested.

Thank you for your continued service to Isaac students and families. Your visibility through social media and personal contacts is greatly appreciated. You bring reassurance and comfort during this difficult time.
