School Closure Update

Dear Isaac Staff,

Once again we wish to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for the work all of our staff are doing during these uncertain times!

From our certified staff who support our students and check on their welfare; to our classified staff who are ensuring our schools remain clean, students have access to meals and that essential district functions continue to operate. Thank you everyone for continuing to support Isaac students and the community.

Teaching & Learning has worked diligently to provide resources for learning at home. Work packets will continue to be offered at school sites and additional resources are available on isaacschools.org/learn. Please share this information with Isaac families.

Cafeteria and transportation staff will keep providing meals to our students. Beginning on Monday, meals will be served once per day with breakfast and lunch meals packaged together and offered at school sites and on bus routes from 11:30am  - 1:00 pm only.

Also on Monday, we will observe the Cesar Chavez holiday. No employees (other than those supporting our student meals initiative) will be required to report to work.

When we return on Tuesday, buildings will strictly operate from 9:00am - 1:00 pm only. In an effort to reduce the number of people on campuses even further, the list of essential personnel will be narrowed down and changes will be communicated by supervisors directly.  The Heart of Isaac will continue to provide services to our families daily between the hours of 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Please continue to refer families in need.

Any non essential personnel who may need to visit a campus must schedule a time with your building administrator in advance.

While we understand these changes are unfamiliar, we need to ensure that Isaac School District is doing our part to help prevent further spread of the COVID-19 virus and to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Please continue to monitor the isaacschools.org/updates website for more information.
