Mrs. Cathy Rivera, Member

Cathy Rivera has been an Isaac School District parent and resident for 36 years. She is a retired bilingual teacher who taught preschool through grade 12. She was a middle school assistant principal, elementary school principal, and district administrator in Phoenix and Scottsdale School Districts. She served as an Education Program Specialist at the Arizona State Department of Education. She also taught Spanish for 20 years as a Spanish Language Adjunct Faculty member at Phoenix College.

This will be Mrs. Rivera’s eighth (8) year Cathy has served on Isaac School District Governing Board. Mrs. Rivera’s mission is to work as part of a team that: promotes high student academic achievement; provides teachers with the instructional resources to meet student needs; expects each school in the District to be recognized as excelling schools; welcomes parents and community members as partners in each child's education; and has accountability expectations for all.
