    Mr. Victor Durazo

    Mr. Durazo is one of the 8th grade science teachers at MKU. He's been recognized by leadership for his constant growth in his teaching as well as his growth in his leadership role with the science team. Mr. Durazo is constantly involved in supporting fellow teachers in their growth, and works tirelessly to help ALL students at MKU grow in their academics with his guidance and mentorship. A big shout out to Mr. Durazo and his hard work every day with our MKU community of learners, teachers, and families.

  • Teacher of the Month December

    Mrs. Laura Palmero-Rao

    Mrs. Palmero is the MKU Read 180 as well as the leader of Latinos in Action, a class that provides leadership opportunities to those students within our community. She was nominated for teacher of the month due to her flexibility, commitment, and passion in helping the community at MKU and within the Isaac School District. Not only does Mrs. Palmero tackle all of her daily duties, she also takes the time to support the leadership team. Mrs. Palmero is a valued member of the MKU family and her contributions to the Isaac School District are invaluable.
