Mission Statement:

The mission of the P.T. Coe community is to ensure that our students:

Achieve at grade level proficiency in all academic areas as measured by the State Standards and
Demonstrate strong character as evidenced by a positive school climate.

We are committed to provide support by:

Implementing appropriate academic and behavioral interventions,
Differentiating instruction,
Teaching higher level thinking skills, and
Increasing parent involvement.

P.T. Coe Elementary School Vision for Reform:
The vision for improvement of P.T. Coe Elementary School is predicated upon scientifically research based instruction and is a school-wide effort to increase student achievement. Instruction will use proven strategies of standards-based approaches to teaching and learning with an emphasis on a comprehensive reading literacy program throughout all content areas.
